“It’s not a good week if your outfits are not on point”
This years Miami Swim Week I made sure I would put in all efforts to look my best! As much as i wish it was easier .. it never is, with the in between outfit changes, hot long walks to make it from 8th st to 15th st, the annoyance that comes with not being able to find parking and just having to figure it out or instantly getting hit with FOMO for some event choices. With that being said out of the not so many things that where out of my control, having my outfits ready definitely was not one of them, after all this is part of the scene.
DAY 1 : Let’s Kick It Off Right
How else are you suppose to start a 4 day #MiamiSwimWeek festival 🤷♀️ Here’s to last nights fun w/ @paraisomiamibeach & the lives of the party @lunnasdj 🎵 at the gorgeous @lennoxhotelmiamibeach #ExperienceLennox 😘 & my lovely date 💕 @yyanelarivero 🎬Check out the highlights for more⚡️#ParaisoMB - @she.illy
This dress is a favorite one of mine, I shopped it last year at Kara’s Boutique in Miami. I love different fashion forward some-what risky pieces that stand out in a tasteful way. This multi-colored long sleeve Midi Flared dress was exactly that. Super easy and functional with a nice complementary waist lining, highlighting a shorter waist while adding drama towards the end of the tail.
Style Secrets: I wore this dress backwards, YES, and also yes You Can do that ( my mother would highly disagree) but here i am living profit that hey, why not. I have used it the right way before but that it would be the perfect moment to bring out the tricks ;) - Anyways definitely one of my top outfit looks during Swim Week
DAY 2 : Art Hearts Fashion
Faena, where art meets glamour any day of the week! & for me it’s Tradition, after the Arts Hearts Fashion opening at Faena forum to head to the Faena to only bask in the the beauty & blessings of Juann Gatti’s infamous mural at the lobby entrance making it the perfect photo-op for my Zebra Tribal Choker Mini Dress look, bringing such a statement, unique piece to life.

DAY 3: THE DENIM POWER JUMPSUIT
Denim + Power and that sums up this edgy and high fashion look, that serveD to be such a relaxed, confident style choice for day 2. On this day I had to to cover multiple events plus walk a few blocks (15) down to make it to the next. So was really surprised by the overall functionality of this jumpsuit piece. A big part definitely was the fabric, which turned out to be very breathable with a good stretch - always a plus. Overall a big hit and as for all the other details.
I styled the look with a denim straw like belt. Stayed loyal to y open toe-sandal clear heels and matched it all with gold statement earrings and necklace.

DAY 4: Let’s Pop Out
Since I started the day earlier then ever with making a stop at the Cabana Capsule Tradeshow, I knew I I needed to feel relaxed & comfy without neglecting style. So decided to rock my new denims (it’s been a while since my last pair) but literally got these same week and it happen to be on SALE (ONLY 17 dollas #H&MSALE woot woot!)
Then I matched my pink dress, (yes i used a dress as a shirt) and tucked it in because as of current i am obsessed with cowl neck tops and dresses. The comfy part comes in with my my suede, chained flat loafers (compliments to Macy’s Backstage) and of course in the spirit of the sun i rocked a a fab-u-lous hat mixed with statement accessories and Coach mini bag.
Before I start, i will say this … if you’re going to work a trend do it your way !
*puts on styling hat - The neo-sphere trend has been a huge hit ever since it’s intro, becoming an up trend moving forward into the future, definitely surpassing its fab stages and showing us it is here to stay. On that note, I choose wisely when picking out this Silky Neon Green One-Shoulder Dress, before knew I wanted this I definitely new. I wanted a style that said, summer, elegance, trend-worthy, bright, daring and had a classic effect, so I choice wisely.

Day 5: & That’s a wrap
Final day of Paraiso Swim Week and i closed it with a Mini Spa day w/ Monica Hansen, followed by towering the Hammock then closing with Sports Illustrated Red carpet x Runway show.
First day look, was already planned ahead of time it came out pretty good. I usually don’t tap into my boho sustainable chic vibes but when i do.
Last look, well, looking back now wish i snapped more pictures but was litterally done with it all at this point and said just take 1 shot and we’ll see, with the plan to just repeat this outfit again.
One of my favorites events during swim week is the sports illustrated fashion show. It's a presentation that really focuses on all body types, one that represents all women in all shapes in sizes, real women, because that's what fashion, not just about pretty girls, cute clothes ect. It's about a lifestyle that derives from the everyday and i love that message in an industry that highlights alot more of perfection than the real
This is me, i'm here and I'm real.
Definitely doing a outfit repeat for this one! But managed to get in one shot, closing of #MiamiSwimWeek at the Sports Illustrated show we wrapped up one hell of a week. Starting with the Red carpet followed by the fashion show held in at the W South Beach in it’s pool runway.
